Adult Healthy Weight Programme - Redruth

Monday 7th January, 1:00pm to 2:30pm at Redruth, TR15 2EG. Wesley Building, Redruth. Starting January 7th. Healthy Weight Adults is a 10 week programme for people over the age of 18 years old who are above a healthy weight. Over the 10 weeks you will learn about healthy eating, serving sizes, food labels, salts, fats and sugars & getting more active.You will also have the opportunity to take part in simple circuits which can be adapted to your needs. Booking is essential - CLICK HERE to register your interest

Cooking for Health - St Austell

At St Austell, PL25 4QF. We will  prepare and cook a selection of healthy meals dependent on the needs of the group, Use basic culinary skills and talk about ways of making food in a healthy, cost effective way. Healthy Eating Session - St Austell

At St Austell, PL25 4QF. Healthy Eating Session  is an education session covering  the basic key messages  of a healthy balanced diet. Over the 2 hours we will cover: The Eatwell Guide, Appropriate serving sizes, How to read food labels, How to reduce fat/salt and sugar in your diet, Set a small healthy eating goal for the future. Booking is essential. Wednesday 16th January, 3:30pm to 5:00pm at St Columb Major, TR9 6AN. The programme is completely free and a great way to work as a family to have a healthy lifestyle – it runs for 10 weeks and includes activities such as: trying new foods, tips with shopping, fun games and cooking!  Spaces are limited so booking early is essential.

Every Thursday, 9:00am to 1:00pm at Chestnut Children's Centre, Bodmin, PL31 2JB. Our Healthy Pregnancy Drop In Session is a fantastic opportunity to get support from our friendly team with healthy eating, physical activity and stopping smoking. No need to book; just pop in!

No need to book - just turn up!  A low intensity walk at Lost Gardens of Heligan to increase people’s weekly activity levels. This group is not only a great way to improve your mobility and fitness but is also very social.

Walking for health - Tehidy Country Park

At Tehidy Country Park, TR14 0EZ. This walk will be held on the 1st Thursday and 3rd Thursday of every month. We will be meeting at South Drive Car Park, 10am start and the walk will last approximately 45 minutes. Walking for health is aimed at anyone who is keen to join a walk to discover the joys and health benefits of walking locally.
