4 Firm and peeled pears, peeled, cored and quartered
400ml Red Grape Juice
1 tsp ground cinnamon or 1 cinnamon stick
Make sure the pears are peeled, cored and quatered
Put the juice and cinnamon in a medium sized saucepan and bring to the boil for 2 minutes.
Turn down the heat, add pears and simmer for 20 minutes.
Turn pears several times during cooking to make sure they get well covered with juice.
Remove pears from the pan with a slotted spoon and place in dish.
Boil the juice for a couple of minutes to reduce slightly and then pour over the pears.
