Orchard Fruit Crumble
225g plums, halved and pitted
225g baking apples, peeled cored and chopped
40g light or dark muscovado sugar
25g polyunsaturated margarine
75g Jordan's original crunchy cereal with raisins and almonds
Put the plums, apples (and sugar) into a saucepan with 5 tablespoons of water. Heat and simmer gently until soft and pulpy, about 10 minutes.
Preheat the oven to Gas Mark 4/180C/350F. Spoon the fruit filling into a baking dish or four ramekin dishes.
Melt the margarine in a saucepan and stir in the cereal. Sprinkle evenly over the surface of the fruit.
Bake for 10-15 minutes, until crunchy and light golden brown.Create printer friendly PDF
