Wholemeal pancakes (sweet)

Serves 5 Costs 3.00 per recipe Costs 0.60 per serving Takes 10 mins to cook Takes  10 mins to prepare Vegetarian

Ingredients

90g rolled oats

5 egg whites

2 large bananas

1 teaspoon ground cinnamon (optional)

poly or mono unsaturated oil for cooking (very small amount)

Method

Combine all the ingredients in a  blender, or a food processor.

Blend until a thick batter forms.

Depending on how thick you like your pancakes, an extra egg white or a touch of skimmed milk can be added.

Heat a very small amount of oil in a  non stick frying pan over a medium heat. Ladle batter into the pan and fry pancakes until golden brown on each side.

Top with extra fruit if you like to get one of your 5 a day!
