Apple Spice Muffins
250g self raising flour
1 tsp baking powder
1½ tsp mixed spice
75g granulated sugar
5 fl oz milk
175g apple (2 apples) chopped
75g corn oil or melted butter
Pre-heat the oven to 190 C/375 F/Gas Mark 5.
Sieve together all dry ingredients and add the apple.
Pour all the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir.
Spoon the mixture into cases and bake for 20-25 minutes until the tops are lightly browned and spring back when touched.
Leave to cool.
These muffins can be frozen, and defrosted in a microwave for 30 seconds each on high.Create printer friendly PDF
