Apple Pie Porridge
50g porridge oats
200ml pure apple juice (with no added sugar)
100ml semi-skimmed milk
1 medium dessert apple, diced
1 pinch of cinnamon
Add the oats, juice, milk and half the diced apple to a saucepan.
Heat and stir until boiling, then reduce the heat and simmer gently for five minutes, stirring often.
Spoon the porridge into a serving bowl, add the remaining fresh apple and a sprinkling of cinnamon.
