Pitta Bread Pizza
Mini or full size pitta breads
1 small carton passata, or some tomato puree
Grated mature cheddar
Toppings of your choice e.g:
finely sliced onion
finely sliced mushrooms
chopped ham and pineapple
tuna, sardines or smoked mackerel
left over cooked chicken
Spread the base with passata, chopped tomatoes or a thin spread of tomato purée.
Add the toppings of your choice.
Sprinkle with herbs if using and top with grated cheese.
Grill until cheese is melted and golden brown.
